Unfinished Business | And the Practice of Seeing It Through

In a Pop-Up Office Hour we will work to help you think about your relationship to a project you’re not working on but want to, and figure out why it keeps mattering to you.

What are the ideas and feelings that define the project for you? Is there something unresolved in your thinking, your creative process, your emotional patterns that keeps bringing you back? Should you move it forward, let it go, morph it into something else? And what can you do with it - literally, emotionally, psychologically?  It’s time to take a good look at that unfinished business.

We all have unrealized projects: the unfinished book, the half-rendered painting, the sketched-out volume of poetry, the great idea for a social impact business or creative service, the blog, magazine, or website that “someone” should do, the meet-up, support group or regular get-together that you feel like needs to exist but you can’t quite seem to get organized. Something loved and obsessed over that we don’t actually work on or don’t work on enough to actually make happen.

Unrealized projects that are almost like people, almost like relationships, and that we have yet to find the space or time to help become something concrete in our lives.
